Biochemistry student selected for research exchange programme at the University of Glasgow (Scotland, UK)
Brenda Makena, a 2nd year MSc Bioinformatics student from the University of Nairobi’s Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (CEBIB) has been selected for 3 months all-expenses-paid research students exchange programme. Brenda is among nine students competitively selected for the programme from various institutions of higher learning in Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Sudan, and Cameroon. The programme, funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF), is aimed at strengthening capacity at the beginning of the student’s research careers.
